Leading with Pride and Joy ™

Managing Change for Maximum Impact with Minimum Stress

Whether you’re leading change within your department or taking your organization from local to global presence, managing change can be an overwhelming task. While team members are struggling with their insecurities, you’ve got your own list – and it seems to grow longer every day! How will you have to think and act differently to facilitate change? What new attitudes and behaviors will you have to model? How will you address expectations and handle questions, fears and concerns? How will you deliver results?

In this highly customized session, you will develop your PLAN to manage the dynamics of change along with the various components of the change process.

Participants will develop skills and competencies to:

  • Help others accept change without complaints, anger, apathy or fear.
  • Identify the four fears of team members in dealing with change.
  • Avoid the communication mistakes that busy managers/leaders make.
  • Communicate more openly, honestly and directly to build trust.
  • Create positive outcomes from difficult conversations.
  • Identify sources of conflict within the team.
  • Learn a six-step process to handle complaints.
  • Deal with difficult people before they impact morale and productivity.
  • Negotiate from strength, with compassion and common sense.
  • Help team members maintain a positive presence in the midst of change.
  • Make tough decisions with more clarity – even when the choices aren’t easy.
  • Build personal accountability into words and actions.
  • Reduce the stress involved in making change work!

This session can qualify for CEUs, contact hours and education credits.
