Pre-Program Checklist for Jean’s Presentation

The purpose of this checklist is to provide you with last-minute reminders that will assist us greatly in presenting the very best program possible for your group. Please review it carefully! We appreciate your attention to detail.

  • Customizing - Please send us any information that will increase Jean’s understanding of your company or organization, products, people and problems. Include a copy of your industry magazine, history, newsletter, product brochures, or job descriptions. Also provide your organizational mission and goals for the future. This will help Jean create a presentation that fits your specific needs for her presentation.
  • Program - Please send a copy of the program (if applicable) that will be used for this event. Jean likes to see where she fits into the big picture of your event.
  • Staging for Keynotes/Workshops - With groups of 200 or more, Jean is more visible on a raised platform so everyone can see and enjoy her presentation. Please have steps placed in the front, if possible, and a small-skirted table on stage for her props. Please have a water pitcher with glasses on stage.
  • Microphone - Jean prefers to use a wireless lavaliere microphone. This enables her to move around freely and interact personally with your group. Her second choice is a wired lavaliere microphone with a long cord.
  • Audio/Visual Aids – Jean does not use any visual aids. Please remove any equipment and/or screens from the platform area, if possible.
  • Lectern - Jean does not speak from behind a lectern. If it is necessary for a lectern to be on the stage for other parts of the program, please have it set to the side of the stage during Jean’s presentation.
  • Head Table - If the head table is on the stage, please have it set far enough back so Jean can walk around in front of the table and interact with the audience. Please have the people at the head table move to a reserved seat in the audience so they can also enjoy the presentation.
  • Handouts - We have provided your group a master copy of Jean’s handout. Please have a copy available for each audience member as they enter, or put in your conference binder.
  • Introduction - We have provided you a copy of Jean’s introduction. (Click Here) Please use this to introduce Jean to your group.
  • Hotel and Travel Arrangements - Hotel room reservations (non-smoking), preferably at the same hotel where the meeting is to be held, are to be secured by you, the client, guaranteed for late arrival, and should be billed directly to your organization. Jean will be responsible for travel arrangements, non-refundable coach fare, round-trip from Baton Rouge, LA.
  • Ground Transportation - Please arrange ground transportation (to and from the airport) and let our office know who will be meeting Jean or if she should take a cab or hotel shuttle.
  • Payment of Fee - Per our agreement, please remember that the entire fee is due on-site, immediately following Jean’s presentation. An invoice including travel expenses and per diem will be mailed prior to the engagement.
  • Reminder - Audio or video recording of the presentation, in part or whole, by the client for private or other distribution is prohibited and is NOT a part of our agreement. A separate fee quotation for recording is available upon request.

Once you've checked off each of these items, you and Jean can be assured that the details have been taken care of and everything will run smoothly. Now YOU can relax and let Jean do the rest!
